October Mission Leadership Council

First of all we went to Guadalajara for the Concilio de la misión on Wednesday, but its several hours away so we left in the morning and arrived at about 6, had a noche de hogar with all the zone leaders and assistents and stayed the night in the offices. Then the next day we were in the concilio until 7 ish so we stayed another night in Guadalajara. Then we got back in the afternoon on Friday. I learned a lot from concilio though, I especially like what Hermana Clayton said. She taught about Joshua and Caleb in the OT and their example and about when Moses sent spies into Canaan to see what the land was like. Ten of them saw the inhabitants and returned and said it would be impossible to overcome them. But then she talked about the trust that Caleb and Joshua had in God and how we as missionaries must be the same. We have to say give me this mountain and I will climb it." She said a lot of other things, but it was a really good training. Then, on Saturday and Sunday it was district conference in Manzanillo, so we stayed the night in my old house in Manzanillo, a blast from the past really.
