Today was interesting. It was a normal p-day. I went back to bed after 8 and slept until 11. My companion sent a letter to the President but wouldn’t tell me what it was about just that he felt it was inspired. Long story short, President called in the evening and now my companion is staying gin the mission, but will be transferred to an area where he doesn't have to walk as much. It was a little awkward because I wrote to the President like my comp was going home….oh well. I just have three more weeks to listen to how much his bellybutton hurts. Patience, patience, patience.

Today we had district class which I had not prepared at all and it went okay. One of the sister’s brought a package for me!!! She had a transfer because her companions health was bad. They moved her companion to the city to be close to the hospital. Anyway, I got a package from my sister with lots of American things that made me feel better. I have gotten a little tired of endless Mexican Culture. Well not so much the culture as having a Mexican companion 24/7. I just don't get along with Latin companions as well as I do with Americans. Afterwards we wen to get food and on a joint visit with some members. We didn’t find an investigators today.

This morning we visited a member that we met on the bus yesterday. He is sort of inactive and has a lot of problems. Basically, his life is a mess and hi foot is a wreck. He had some sort of accident and they had to remove two of his toes and a chunk of his foot. It is not healing well. That is just a tiny part of his trials. We gave him a blessing and referred him to the branch President for advice. After lunch and studies, we had divisions. I wen to an area that was pretty far away from Centro to visit with less active members while my companion went to visit with our investigators H and J. Apparently their visits didn’t go very well, but I had a good time. We taught one lesson and gave one blessing.

Today was good. Weekly planning, food, then we went to Guzman for divisions. I went with Elder M and we taught 4 people in the street and met a member. When we arrived home, Elder K and his newbie companion where just chilling. They came from a long way away and ended up staying the night with us. Another night with 8 missionaries in the same house….you just can’t get to bed on time with that many Elders.

I felt fried this morning because we went to a buffet for breakfast. It is Elder M’s last full week in the mission, so all the members are babying him. But it is really cool. The district president took all 8 of us missionaries to the buffet. He only brought his wife and 2 little daughters, so it was basically a missionary party. What I can’t believe is that he paid for the whole thing, well except for the tip. I don’t want to admit to how much I ate, but lets just say that I took advantage of the opportunity. Apart from that we had a good day. A less active member fixed my watch for cheap. He wasn’t going to charge me anything, but I felt bad for him and gave him more than he asked for. We also taught H. another lesson and that finished our day.
