Otro p-day. It was good. We actually got to go to the temple again. I really love the temple. I got to take all the family names that Mom gave me and had the district do them. It was pretty uneventful rest of the day. I am very ready to be out of the CCM. I am really looking forward to General Conference because I think it will be awesome to be in here for that experience.

It was a hard day. In our first lesson we taught about prayer and when I asked our investigator if she had any experiences about prayer she just went off. I could not understand a word she said. Not a clue. Talk about a humbling experience. I have hit a wall with Spanish and will likely be useless in the field, but I am ready to get out there and at least try.
The good parts of today were that there was pasta for lunch and dinner. I also got a long time to practice the piano which was nice. Our zone leaders who are leaving on Monday are singing in church tomorrow. They asked me tonight if I would accompany then. So we cut our comp study short and I practiced with them. That made my day a little better. I have never had a stronger desire to learn all the cool piano concertos and pieces that I would be studying right now if I were home.
We are prepping to leave. Everyone is getting their suits dry cleaned, and getting haircuts. They are coming back with ridiculously short haircuts, so I am holding out.
September 18, 2016 - Sunday
My favorite day of the week. There were three devotionals today, two of them were from apostles, Elders Holland and Bednar. I never thought that I would be one of those missionaries to get so excited about devotionals. The apostles tildes to do all these different things and work on different aspects of our lives to be effective missionaries. It is a lot of pressure but it is stuff that I need to work on. In other news, our district invented bottle cap baseball…very productive. They usually play during comp study time.

Only a little bit of time left and I am not feeling prepared. I am definitely ready to go, but I am definitely not prepared. Conjugations are so hard to remember and do correctly and if I ever had a mortal enemy it ism the subjuctive. I just have to keep working at it though. We had a great lesson today though. I fasted for a good friend of my family today. I don’t know why, she was just on my mind and is going through a hard time, so I did. Other that than, nothing super eventful happened today. Everyone else is pretty tired and worn down too, so at least I have company.

I GOT A PACKAGE TODAY!!! I love my family! I am so happy with the treats and this is the best day by far in the CCM. I super grateful for the package! (Happy Birthday Maddison - I am celebrating for you!)
We just got a fresh batch of missionaries today including Travis Smith. It is a little weird to have Brayden and Travis here now. It does make me feel better in the crowd.
I had to take a language evaluation thing today which was super hard, mostly because I am terrible with conjugations. I think that I am a hopeless case. There is a missionary here who was in a terrible accident. The soccer goal post fell on him and landed on mis face. It crushed his nose and cheek bones, and 3 skull fractures. He was just getting ready to leave the CCM. I feel bad for the Elder.

WORST DAY by far. I was so so sick today with fevers, body aches, and a super sore throat. I also had a headache and was nauseated. It was just a rough day.My teacher made me go to the infirmary where I was told to take motrin and come back tomorrow. Anyway, it was useless to study because I felt terrible and couldn’t concentrate on anything. Our lessons were pretty pitiful because I was on another planet.

Crap. Turns out that I have strep throat and now I am on antibiotics. They told me that if I wasn’t better by Saturday that I would need an injection. I am pretty sure that I will feel better cuz I am not sure how much I trust this infirmary. I am not used to getting sick. In fact, I don’t think that I have ever had strep throat before. Nothing interesting happened today other than I had a real conversation with some Latinos, so that was good.
